About the Joshua Tree Artist
| When Jill and Ed Michaels moved to Joshua Tree and settled into a small house on 5 wild acres she had already enjoyed a long creative arts career which included selling illustrations to Nordstroms in California, as well as The Museum of American Folk Art in Lincoln Center. These days the hi-desert artist and storyteller says,"When you live among Jack Rabbits, Joshua trees, endless sunsets and funky old cars on a deserted mesa road, you never run out of inspiration."
Hence, Joshua Tree Art Company was born. Soon the entrepreneur began selling her colorful landscape illustrations printed on postcards, magnets, canvas totes, prints, stickers and wooden art plaques to local shops and throughout California.
